Chief Executive Officer
Ravi Venkatesan was named Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors at Cantaloupe in September 2022, after serving as Chief Operating Officer starting in February 2022 and as Chief Technology Officer from December 2020. He is responsible for leadership of the company’s architecture, development, network and business operations, product teams, as well as customer success. A proven leader with extensive expertise in product development, information systems, software development and program management, Mr. Venkatesan brings more than 20 years of experience in driving innovative change within technology environments.
Previously, Mr. Venkatesan was Head of Innovation at Bakkt. He held the dual roles of Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer at Bridge2 Solutions, preceding its sale to ICE, the parent company of Bakkt. Prior to his position at Bakkt he was the Vice President of Information Technology Strategy and Delivery at Cbeyond. Earlier in his career he spent time as a consulting leader with Accenture.
Mr. Venkatesan graduated from Bangalore University with a degree in Electronics and went through a Post Graduate Program in Finance and Information Management from the Management Development Institute.

Scott Stewart was named Chief Financial Officer in February of 2022, overseeing the Company’s finance organization, including financial strategy and operations, accounting and financial reporting, planning and analysis, tax, treasury, and investor relations. Mr. Stewart joins Cantaloupe after serving 13 years with the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), which operates exchanges and clearing houses across the globe, such as the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), and provides data services and technology solutions to financial institutions, investors and corporations. During his time at ICE, he served in various positions, most recently as Assistant Controller, where his responsibilities included managing and overseeing the production of external financial statements, implementation of new accounting standards, maintaining corporate controls and ensuring SOX compliance across all accounting processes. Following ICE’s acquisition of NYSE, Mr. Stewart supervised the integration of NYSE’s accounting function into ICE’s accounting group, including the transition of employees, consolidation of job functions, roles and responsibilities, and moving the NYSE accounting function from New York to Atlanta. Prior to his employment with Intercontinental Exchange Inc., Mr. Stewart was a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young (where he was employed from 2003 – 2007).
A graduate of Clemson University, Mr. Stewart holds both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Professional Accountancy. He is also a certified public accountant.

Jeff Dumbrell was named Chief Revenue Officer in January 2022. Dumbrell has over 20 years of experience building and scaling high-performing payments and technology organizations globally. From 2008 to 2013, Dumbrell served as EVP of Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific at VeriFone Systems, Inc. where revenue grew during his tenure from approximately $350 million to over $900 million across 50+ countries. Prior to that role, Dumbrell led VeriFone’s North America effort for five years, growing revenue to over $350 million. While at VeriFone he expanded the company’s highly successful channel partnership relationships in the US, Canada, and throughout Europe and the Middle East. Prior to joining Cantaloupe, Dumbrell served as Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships at Boost Payment Solutions. Dumbrell co-founded and was CEO of PowaPOS, a B2B infrastructure provider of tablet and smartphone-based payments technology for the point-of-sale industry, prior to its sale to SuperCom (Nasdaq: SPCB) in 2016.

Gaurav Singal was named Chief Technology Officer in September 2022. Singal has over 20 years in experience scaling technology companies and driving product innovation. Prior to joining Cantaloupe, Singal served as the executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the Georgia Lottery Corporation, where he led the organization through a successful digital transformation. His previous experience includes serving as the Chief Product Officer for Last Mile at XPO Logistics, a Vice President of technology at Goldman Sachs, and as a former technology startup founder.
Singal holds an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology at Delhi and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Chicago.

Dave joined Cantaloupe in December of 2021 in the role of Chief Information Officer, leading the Company’s reporting, operations, and support teams. Dave is a leader with proven and extensive information technology experience in FinTech, Telecom, Loyalty, Financial, and global management consulting companies. In his role as CIO, he is responsible for leading the company’s information technology initiatives and strategy.
Before joining Cantaloupe, Dave served as Senior Vice President of Service Delivery at Bakkt. Prior to the Bakkt acquisition of Bridge2 Solutions, Dave was responsible for all aspects of software engineering, program management, relationship management, revenue, and service delivery for the loyalty and redemption program for one of the largest Financial Institutions in the US. Dave brings deep experience supporting and implementing ERP, financial and accounting, tax, network provisioning, payment, and loyalty systems.
Dave holds a PhD in Physics from Georgia Tech and is a co-founder of the Technology Alliance of Georgia (TAG) Cloud Society (2015).

Anna Novoseletsky was appointed Chief Legal and Compliance Officer & General Counsel, Corporate Secretary in January 2023. Ms. Novoseletsky is a seasoned attorney with expertise in global payments, digitization, and e-commerce. She joins Cantaloupe from Discover Financial Services where she was VP & Associate General Counsel, and Head of Legal, where she partnered with senior executives to set strategy within the payments business to evaluate risk on various global business initiatives, focused on corporate governance and regulatory framework of the payments service industry, and was General Counsel for Discover Network, PULSE Network, and Diners Club International.
Ms. Novoseletsky earned her Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University School of Law and her Bachelor and Master of Laws from the Ukrainian State Law Academy with highest honors. Ms. Novoseletsky is an active member of the Legal Aid Society’s Advisory Board of the Metropolitan Family Services of Chicago and devotes significant time to volunteerism and pro bono work. Previously she practiced at Latham & Watkins LLP, one of the premier global business law firms, where she started her practice focusing on public and private mergers and acquisitions and advising independent directors in conflict-of-interest transactions, and public company representation. Prior to that role, Ms. Novoseletsky started her legal career in Russia and Ukraine, practicing law under the umbrella of a consulting company in Moscow.

Alyssa Braniecki joined Cantaloupe in March of 2020 bringing over five years of technical recruiting and general HR operational management for organizations sized 100-500 employees. In her role as Vice President of People Operations, Alyssa works closely with the Senior leadership team and is responsible for planning, designing, developing, and evaluating human resource-related initiatives to support organizational strategic goals
Alyssa firmly believes in the power of People-Focused Cultures. She has been successful by practicing an open-door communications approach supporting employees and management at all levels in order to provide pragmatic resolutions and guidance.
Prior to joining Cantaloupe, Alyssa worked as a Senior Recruiter and Operations Lead at a Software company in the payments space. She is affiliated with Philly SHRM Chapter, Association for Talent Development, and Human Capital Institute. She is a first-generation college graduate and is passionate about and advocates for the hiring and long-term success of Armed Service Members and military spouses.

Elyssa Steiner joined Cantaloupe through the acquisition of Cantaloupe Systems, in 2017. In her previous role as VP of Marketing and in her current role as Chief Marketing Officer, she oversees all aspects of the marketing team. Her responsibilities include the development and implementation of all strategic marketing campaigns that drive measurable results and support the company’s critical business objectives. Prior to the merger she served as the Director of Marketing and focused on building and executing the overall strategic direction of marketing for Cantaloupe Systems.
Ms. Steiner has been in the unattended retail industry since 2010. Before joining Cantaloupe Systems, she served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Avanti Markets, where she was one of the early pioneers to introduce micro markets to the unattended retail industry. During her tenure at Avanti Markets she was responsible for leading the company’s sales and marketing strategies and played a key role in increasing annual revenue by $20 million over the course of four years.
During her tenure in this market, Ms. Steiner’s enthusiasm and success have led her to become a well-respected mentor and award-winning executive in the industry. In 2013 she was voted Automatic Merchandiser Readers’ Choice Manufacturer Representative of the Year. She has served on NAMA’s Government Affairs, WIN (Women of the Industry) and ELN (Emerging Leaders Network) committees. She has also served as a contributor to the Frost & Sullivan Marketing community. When not dedicating her time to the industry, she stays active by taking spin classes, and playing pickleball, as well as traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Ms. Steiner has a Master’s in Communication and Leadership from Gonzaga University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Marketing from the University of Washington.

Jared Grachek was appointed Chief Accounting Officer in May 2023. He serves as Cantaloupe’s principal accounting officer, overseeing all accounting and bookkeeping functions as well as handling the company’s reporting and compliance responsibilities.
Mr. Grachek is a financial professional with more than fifteen years of combined industry and public accounting (Big 4) experience supporting SEC registrants and rapidly growing private companies externally though audit and consulting engagements and internally through the controllership function. From May 2008 to March 2021, Mr. Grachek worked in the audit practice at the accounting firm Ernst & Young where he served public and private companies in the financial technology and capital markets industries. From April 2021 to May 2023, Mr. Grachek worked as the Controller for a large private equity backed financial technology company where he was directly responsible for all accounting operations including financial reporting, technical accounting, and tax compliance.
Mr. Grachek earned his Master’s in Business Administration from Emory University – Goizueta Business School, his Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame – Mendoza College of Business and his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia – Terry College of Business. Mr. Grachek is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Douglas G. Bergeron joined the board in April 2020. Mr. Bergeron is a Managing Partner of Hudson Executive, an investment firm that seeks to identify value-oriented opportunities in the small/mid-cap U.S. public markets. Mr. Bergeron is also the CEO of Hudson Executive Investment Corp. II, and III, special purpose acquisition companies formed to acquire technology-driven, disruptive businesses. Mr. Bergeron has served as the founder and sole shareholder of DGB Investment, Inc., a diversified holding company of technology investments, since 2002. In 2001, he led the acquisition of VeriFone Systems, Inc. (Verifone), a company that provides technology for electronic payment transactions at the point-of-sale, from Hewlett-Packard. In 2002, Mr. Bergeron, as Chief Executive Officer of Verifone, partnered with GTCR, a private equity firm, and grew VeriFone into a multi-national company with an enterprise value exceeding $4 billion by 2013, when he left the company. Mr. Bergeron is a member of the Board of Directors of Renters Warehouse, an online exchange for occupied and performing single family rentals, since 2015. Mr. Bergeron serves as an investor and advisor to Blend, Inc., a consumer finance automation company.
Mr. Bergeron holds an Honours B.A. in Computer Science from York University in Toronto and a Masters of Science in Systems Management from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. In 2013, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Laws (LLD) from York University.

Ian Harris joined the board in February 2022. Mr. Harris is the Chief Financial Officer of Talkspace (Nasdaq: TALK), one of the largest digital mental health care providers. He was previously a Partner and Head of Research at Hudson Executive Capital LP, a value-oriented investment firm focused on small and mid-cap public companies, where he led the firm’s investments in financial services, technology and healthcare. Mr. Harris is a member of the Board of Directors of Liberated Syndication Inc., a leading provider of podcast hosting and advertising services. Prior to Hudson, Ian worked at Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays PLC, where he advised companies on M&A and capital markets activities.
Mr. Harris graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations.

Lisa P. Baird joined the board in April 2020. Ms. Baird is the President & CEO of NextUp, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advance women in business. She previously served as Commissioner of the National Women’s Soccer League, a women’s professional soccer league. From 2018 to 2020, Ms. Baird served as the Chief Marketing Officer for New York Public Radio (NYPR), America’s most listened-to public radio station and a leading podcast producer, where she oversaw marketing, membership, sponsorship and communications. From 2009 to 2018, Ms. Baird served as Chief Marketing Officer of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC), the 501(c)(3) tasked with stewarding the Olympic Movement in the U.S. In this role, she oversaw marketing, media and revenue supporting US national governing bodies and the Olympic and Paralympic Teams. Ms. Baird has extensive experience in branding, development and marketing for several Fortune 50 companies, including IBM, General Motors, Warner-Lambert Company, Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products, and the Procter & Gamble Company. She currently serves as a Director on the Board of Elite Sportswear, L.P., a global leader in gymnastics, swim and spirit competition apparel, and Fox Head Inc., an action sports apparel and gear manufacturer. She served as a Director on the Board of Soundview Paper Company, LLC, a consumer paper products company, from 2018 to 2019.
Ms. Baird earned an A.B. in English from Penn State University where she also earned an MBA from The Smeal College of Business.

Jacob Lamm joined the board in April 2020. Mr. Lamm is founder and president of Enterik Advisory LLC, providing executive and board level consulting services to public, Private Equity, and venture backed firms with a focus on combining organic and inorganic growth strategies. He previously served as Executive Vice President of CA Technologies, a provider of information technology management software and solutions, from 2009 to 2019, where he was responsible for corporate strategy, M&A, venture investing, strategic alliances, and new business incubation. Prior to joining CA, he co-founded and served as CTO of Professional Help Desk, a provider of Service Management software that was acquired by CA. Additionally, Mr. Lamm has served as a director of both private and non-profit organizations, serving as a director for the Long Island High Technology Incubator, the New York State Smart Grid Consortium and Watermark Medical Inc., a medical technology company focused on remote diagnostic testing, therapy and patient follow-up, the latter from 2010 to 2018.

Ellen Richey joined the board in April 2020. Ms. Richey brings over 40 years of legal and risk management experience, most recently serving as Visa’s vice chairman of risk and public policy. In that role, Ms. Richey was responsible for driving the future of payment security at the company, serving as its voice with legislators, regulators and clients on payment security, and leading similar initiatives combining risk, business and policy issues of strategic importance to Visa. Before assuming the role of vice chairman at Visa, Richey concurrently served as chief legal officer, chief risk officer, and a member of Visa’s executive committee. In those positions, she was responsible for the legal function as well as oversight of Visa’s compliance, audit and risk teams, including payment system risk, settlement risk and enterprise risk. Ms. Richey currently serves on the board of Green Dot Corporation (GDOT).
Prior to joining Visa, Ms. Richey worked at Washington Mutual Inc. as senior vice president of enterprise risk management and executive vice president of card services, and served as vice chairman of Providian Financial Corporation, where she had responsibility for the enterprise risk management, legal, corporate governance, corporate relations, compliance and audit functions.
Ms. Richey earned a B.A. in Linguistics and Far Eastern Languages from Harvard University and a J.D. from Stanford University, and served as a law clerk for Associate Justice Lewis F. Powell, Jr. of the United States Supreme Court.

Michael Passilla joined the board in April 2020. Mr. Passilla served as Vice Chairman at Chase Merchant Services, the global payment processing division of JPMorgan Chase & Co, from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Chase Merchant Services from 2013 to 2016. Mr. Passilla was the Chief Executive Officer and President of Elavon, Inc., a global payments processing firm, from 2010 to 2013. Mr. Passilla has been a member of the Board of Directors of Priority Technology Holdings, Inc., an IT service management company, since 2019.
Mr. Passilla earned a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and earned an MBA from The J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Anne M. Smalling joined the board in April 2020. Ms. Smalling has served as President and Managing Partner of HM International, LLC (HMI), a privately-held business that acquires undervalued assets and builds a steady trajectory of worth since 1999. As President and Managing Partner, Ms. Smalling provides oversight and supervision of the operating businesses in their succession, strategic planning, financing, acquisition and divestitures and major capital expenditures. Ms. Smalling currently serves as the Chair of the Boards of Directors of Quality Sausage Company, LLC, which is a leader in custom/proprietary pre-cooked meats and pepperoni supplying products to industrial and foodservice customers, since 2014, and American Innovations, a provider of compliance solutions to oil and gas pipelines thru an integrated family of hardware, software and professional services, since 2004. She also serves on the Boards of Directors of Igasamex, S. de R.L. de C.V., a developer of private natural gas distribution systems in Mexico, since 1995, Garrison Brothers, a bourbon distillery, since 2013, and rateGenius, Inc., a multi-state, web-based loan brokerage company, since 1999. Shannon S. Warren joined the board in April 2020. Ms. Warren is the owner and principal of SSW Consulting LLC, which provides risk and finance advisory services. Ms. Warren was the Chief Control Officer of JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM), a global financial services firm, from 2012 to 2016. In this role, she established the Oversight and Control function, designed the framework for the identification and management of operational risk in all products and services offered by JPM, implemented more comprehensive operational risk management technology and managed supervisory regulatory relationships globally. Prior to this role, Ms. Warren was the Corporate Controller and held several additional finance roles at JPM since joining in 2000, and has expertise with accounting and financial reporting matters.
Ms. Warren is a graduate of the University of Michigan and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
